Avery's First Christmas

Avery has loved all of the Christmas decorations! She loved making her way under the tree and checking out the presents and ornaments. She also loved to look at her stocking hanging above the fireplace.






We had Christmas Eve dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Avery got to open a couple of presents and this gift bag (not what was inside it) was one of her favorite things!




Avery had lots of fun opening her gifts Christmas morning...she seemed to enjoy the bows, tissue paper and boxes more than the gifts! She got lots of fun toys and books that she has been enjoying ever since.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

One of Avery's favorite things to do has been standing at the Christmas bins and crinkling the newspaper and jingling the bells on the stockings.




Last Saturday, we went to a tree farm to cut down our Christmas tree. Avery liked looking at the trees and touching their prickly branches. Matty did such a good job cutting down the tree, they were ready to hire him on the spot!

Avery's First Snow!

December 1st brought us the first snowfall of the season. Avery loved the snow and especially loved watching Scout frolic in it!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Avery had a great first Thanksgiving! No turkey yet, just sweet potatoes and oatmeal. She loved spending time with Nonnie and Boppie, her grandparents from Oregon and spent much of the weekend talking, giggling and squealing!

Lil Miss May

Avery, our "Lil Miss May" is 6 months old! We had to do a mini photo shoot in her adorable outfit from our friend Steve. We can't believe how big she is! If you look closely at the second picture you can see Avery's two new additions...teeth!

Play time!

Avery is getting more active and mobile every day. She enjoys sitting up, rocking on her hands and knees and scooting around backwards while on her tummy.

Avery was a monkey for her first Halloween! She enjoyed her costume...Scout was a little less excited about hers!
